Spotable raises €4 million and sets course for the US

Spotable has raised a €4 million seed round. We'll use it to build out the product and expand into France, Germany and the United States. Belgian business weekly Trends ran the full story today.

Who is investing in Spotable?

Four investors are coming on board: tech entrepreneur Jonas Dhaenens (team.blue), Christophe Morbee (partner at NewSchool.vc), the family office of Hilde Cloostermans and Philip Corens, and Arne Vandendriessche, former CEO of Signpost and now CEO of Get Driven. Investment broker The Harbour guided the round.

Where does the €4 million go?

It goes to the product and to growth abroad.

After Belgium and the Netherlands, France and Germany are next. In the US we're past the planning stage. We already test our technology at American trade shows and have an early commercial foothold there.

"We don't want to spend ten years building in Belgium and only then carefully take a look at America. If this can become a global company, we want to find that out today."Julie Dumoulin, co-founder and CRO, in Trends

From the Wintercircus to a team of 30

Sebastien Vandendriessche, Julie Dumoulin and Pieter-Jan Philips were still students when they founded Spotable in September 2024, at the Wintercircus in Ghent. Three months later the first version was live. We've been selling since September 2025.

A year on, we're a team of 30. Spotable has 350 customers, mostly in Belgium and the Netherlands, and more than 10 million m² of roof has gone through the platform.

What does Spotable do for a roofer?

A roofer loses an average of eight hours per project to measuring and quoting by hand. That's the work Spotable takes over.

You enter an address. Spotable builds a 3D model of the roof or facade, with the measurements, material takeoff, labor hours, cost price, your margin and VAT. What comes out is a quote you can send right away. You still set the price.

To everyone who trusted us with their quotes

This round happened because 350 roofers, facade companies and contractors took a chance on a young company. Thank you. The money also goes into the product you use every day.
